Alfredo Zecca
Alfredo Horacio Zecca (27 September 1949 – 4 November 2022) was an Argentine prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He served as archbishop of Tucumán from 2011 to 2017, when he resigned for health reasons. Life Zecca was born in Buenos Aires, and ordained to the priesthood on 19 November 1976. Zecca was named a consultor to the Congregation for Catholic Education on 29 January 2005, and a member of that Congregation on 12 June 2012. On 10 June 2011, he was appointed Archbishop of Tucumán following the retirement of Archbishop Luis Héctor Villalba. Zecca received his episcopal consecration on 11 August from Jorge Mario Cardinal Bergoglio (later Pope Francis), Archbishop of Buenos Aires. Ferdinand Zecca (19 February 1864 – 23 March 1947) was a Innovator, pioneer French film director, film producer, actor and screenwriter. He worked primarily for the Pathé company, first in artistic endeavors then in administration of the internationally based company. Early life Ferdinand Louis Zecca was born in Paris on 19 February 1864 into a family steeped in the entertainment world. His father was the stage manager at the Paris ''Théâtre de l'Ambigu'' while his brothers were actors. Zecca also became a stage manager and then an actor, before working as an entertainer, playing the cornet and singing in Parisian cafés. He was playing the cornet at the ''Foire au Pain d'épices'', when he encountered filmmaker Léon Gaumont. The Italian Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato (IPZS) (State Mint and Polygraphic Institute), founded in 1928, is situated at the via Salaria 691 in Rome. As well as producing coins, passports, and postage stamps for Italy, it serves the micro-states of the Vatican City, San Marino, and the Sovereign Military Order of Malta. It also publishes books under the imprint Libreria dello Stato. The O.C.V. (''Officina Carte Valori'') and traditional productions factory, the multimedial production institute and the Mint are also located in the capital. Other factories are located in Verrès, Val d'Aosta, and Foggia, Apulia. Banknotes are produced by the Bank of Italy. Zecca Of Venice
The Zecca (English: Mint) is a sixteenth-century building in Venice, Italy which once housed the mint of the Republic of Venice. Built between 1536 and 1548, the heavily rusticated stone structure, originally with only two floors, was designed by Jacopo Sansovino in place of an earlier mint specifically to ensure safety from fire and to provide adequate security for the silver and gold deposits. Giorgio Vasari considered it the finest, richest, and strongest of Sansovino's buildings ("...''bellissimo, ricchissimo, e fortissimo edificio de' suoi è la Zecca di Venezia''..."). Coin production continued after the fall of the Republic of Venice in 1797 but ceased in 1852 during the second period of Austrian domination (1814–1866). The building was subsequently adapted and served as the seat for the Chamber of Commerce from 1872 until 1900.
