The Stampeders
The Stampeders (sometimes shortened to Stampeders) are a Canadian rock trio consisting of lead guitarist and vocalist Rich Dodson, bassist Ronnie King and drummer Kim Berly. History Formed in Calgary, Alberta, in 1964 as the Rebounds. they had five members: Rich Dodson, Len Roemer, Brendan Lyttle, Kim Berly, and Race Holiday. They renamed themselves The Stampeders in 1965 and Len Roemer was replaced with Ronnie King and Van Louis. In 1966, they relocated to Toronto and became a trio in 1968 when Lyttle, Louis, and Holiday left. The Stampeders scored a hit in 1971 with "Sweet City Woman", which won Best Single at the Juno Awards, reached #1 on the RPM magazine charts, and #8 in the U.S. ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart. Shinhwa () is a South Korean six-member boy band based in Seoul, composed of Eric Mun, Lee Min-woo, Kim Dong-wan, Shin Hye-sung, Jun Jin, and Andy Lee. Launched by SM Entertainment on March 24, 1998, the group signed with Good Entertainment in 2004 before creating theiShinhwa Companyto manage their career as a band. The band struggled initially with their first album before finding commercial success with their sophomore album ''T.O.P.'' (April 1999). ''Hey, Come On!'' is the fourth Korean-language studio album by South Korean boy band Shinhwa. It was released on June 28, 2001, by SM Entertainment. As with their past albums, ''Hey, Come On!'' was well received by fans and the title track climbed up charts rapidly. The album's release coincided with the rise of the Korean Wave, spreading the group's popularity overseas. ''Hey, Come On!'' spent 28 weeks on the MIAK Chart before it dropped. Music video In the music video for "Hey, Come On!", Shinhwa can be seen dancing in a white room. The choreography consists of heavy leg movement as well as members (mostly Jun Jin) jumping around. The music video concentrates heavily on Jun Jin and Lee Min Woo. Towards the end of the music video, we can see Minwoo running towards a wall and jumping into it, causing the "wall" to open. ''Modern Times'' is the sixth album by Jefferson Starship and was released in 1981. Grace Slick appeared on this album after a three-year absence. She returned near the end of the recording sessions, providing background vocals on some tracks as well as lead vocals on the single "Stranger" as a duet with lead singer Mickey Thomas. "Stranger" had previously been performed live by Jefferson Starship as early as December 1979, and the first studio version was made for ''Modern Times''. Although not appearing in the band picture on the gatefold cover, Slick is listed on the back cover of the LP with the credit "Introducing Grace Slick" and her picture is on the lyric sleeve with the note "Grace Slick courtesy of Grace Slick."
