''The Vanishing Act: The Untold Story of the Missing Malaysian Plane'' is an unreleased English-language feature film from India inspired by the events surrounding the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 to be directed by Rupesh Paul. Production The expected shooting duration is about 35 days in India, and 15 days in Los Angeles/Malaysia. With The Vanishing Act, Rupesh Paul wants to explore the new galore of technologies and their effect on the human brain, which have not been explored before. The film's trailer was shown at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival to seek co-producers for the film. The film reportedly has received offers for co-production from China and Malaysia. When asked, the director said he had rushed the teaser for the sake of Cannes, and afterwards issued an unconditional apology for the fictional love-triangle portrayed in the teaser, and the press was told that he wished a film to be released by September. Michael Joseph Farrell Jr. (born February 6, 1939) is an American actor, best known for his role as List of M*A*S*H characters#B.J. Hunnicutt, Captain B.J. Hunnicutt on the television series ''M*A*S*H (TV series), M*A*S*H'' (1975–83). Farrell was a producer of ''Patch Adams (film), Patch Adams'' (1998) starring Robin Williams, and starred in the television series ''Providence (American TV series), Providence'' (1999–2002). He is also an activist and public speaker for various political causes. Early life Farrell, one of four children, was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, the son of Agnes Sarah Cosgrove and Michael Joseph Farrell. John Feinstein
John Feinstein (born July 28, 1956) is an American sportswriter, author and sports commentator. Early life Feinstein was born to a Jewish family in New York City on July 28, 1956. His father was heavily involved in the arts having been the General Manager of the Washington National Opera from 1980 to 1995 and was also the first Executive Director of the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. Career Books Feinstein has written 44 books. His book ''A Season on the Brink'' chronicles a year in the life of the Indiana University basketball team and its coach, Bob Knight. In 1995, he published ''A Good Walk Spoiled'', about a year on the PGA Tour as told through the stories of 17 players.
