Until The End (Kittie Album)
''Until the End'' is the third studio album by Canadian heavy metal band Kittie, released on July 27, 2004, through Artemis Records. It was their only album with bassist Jennifer Arroyo, who joined in March 2002. The album was recorded in March 2004 with producer Steve Thompson at Long View Farm Studios in North Brookfield, Massachusetts. It expands upon the death metal stylings of Kittie's previous album ''Oracle'' (2001), whilst incorporating more melody and dynamics into their sound. Kittie wrote the album whilst they were engaged in a lawsuit with Artemis, and its lyrics and artwork reflect the band's feelings of uncertainty and "being suffocated and held down" during that period. After recording concluded, Kittie recruited guitarist Lisa Marx so they could tour in support of the album. ''Until the End'' received mixed reviews from critics, who were divided over its maturity and progression from Kittie's earlier output. The album sold 19,000 copies in its first week to debu ... Widescreen Mode
Widescreen Mode (commonly abbreviated as WSM) is a heavy melodic band from Riihimäki, Finland. History Widescreen Mode’s members are no strangers to playing together, the four-some originally formed the band Fairlane until career decisions in the 1990s forced them to split up and move on. But, in the words of singer Brusila they were just that; discussions. Finally Aaltonen's fiancé intervened; tired of hearing them discuss it but never do anything about it. The band was once again together, and in 2005 they released a demo EP and soon were playing important festivals and shows both in Finland and around Europe, supporting bands like Paradise Lost (band), Paradise Lost, the Cardigans, Anathema (band), Anathema, and Die Krupps. Results May Vary
''Results May Vary'' is the fourth studio album by American rap rock band Limp Bizkit, released on September 23, 2003, through Flip and Interscope Records. It is the band's only release under the sole-leadership of vocalist Fred Durst after the temporary departure of guitarist Wes Borland, who left in 2001. Guitarist Mike Smith of Snot was brought in to replace Borland, although his time with the band was brief, and Durst along with a number of guests ended up handling the majority of the album's guitar work. The album differed from Limp Bizkit's established sound up until that point; although the album still featured elements of hip hop and nu metal, it also branched out into other musical styles, including alternative rock, acoustic, funk, jazz, and emo. It also featured less rapping and more introspective lyrics related to heartbreak, bullying, and self-pity. An alleged affair with Britney Spears by Durst (denied by Spears) during collaborating sessions for her 2003 album ...
