The Unauthorized Rusical
"The Unauthorized Rusical" is the eighth episode of the RuPaul's Drag Race (season 10), tenth season of the American reality competition television series ''RuPaul's Drag Race'', which aired on VH1 on May 10, 2018. The episode has contestants attempt to get RuPaul to fake slap them for the mini challenge, and sing live a Musical theatre, musical about Cher for the main challenge. Billy Eichner and Andrew Rannells serve as guest judges, alongside regular panelists RuPaul, Michelle Visage, and Carson Kressley. Episode Mini challenge The seven remaining contestants are asked by RuPaul to participate in an improv mini-challenge, called "Slap Out of It", that pastiches a similar scene from the finale of RuPaul's Drag Race (season 2), season two. Each queen has to try and make RuPaul fake slap them. Asia O'Hara, who is accidentally slapped for real by RuPaul, wins the mini-challenge. RuPaul's Drag Race
''RuPaul's Drag Race'' is an American reality competition television series, the first in the ''Drag Race'' franchise, produced by World of Wonder for Logo TV (season 1–8), WOW Presents Plus, VH1 (season 9–14) and, beginning with the fifteenth season, MTV. The show documents RuPaul in the search for "America's next drag superstar". RuPaul plays the role of host, mentor, and head judge for this series, as contestants are given different challenges each week. Contestants are judged by a panel that includes RuPaul, Michelle Visage, an alternating third main judge of either Carson Kressley, Ross Mathews, or Ts Madison, and one or more guest judges, who critique their progress throughout the competition. The title of the show is a play on drag queen and drag racing, and the title sequence and song "Drag Race" both have a drag-racing theme.
