''The Singles 86>98'' is a greatest hits album by English electronic music band Depeche Mode, released on 28 September 1998 by Mute Records. It serves as a follow-up to the band's previous compilation, ''The Singles 81→85'', which was also reissued in the same year. The compilation covers the band's seven-inch single releases spanning five studio albums (from 1986's ''Black Celebration'' to 1997's ''Ultra''), while including the new song "Only When I Lose Myself". It also includes "Little 15" (from ''Music for the Masses'', released as a single in Europe) and the live version of "Everything Counts" (from the live album '' 101''), which was released as a single in 1989. ''The Singles'' is the first greatest hits album by English electronic music duo Basement Jaxx, released on 21 March 2005 via XL. The album contains two new songs, " Oh My Gosh" and " U Don't Know Me", which were both released as singles. "Do Your Thing" was previously included on the 2001 '' Rooty'' album, but with the release of this compilation album, the single was re-released in the UK after the two aforementioned singles. ''The Singles'' is a compilation album by English drummer Phil Collins. It was released on 14 October 2016 through Atlantic Records and Warner Music. The album is Collins' fourth compilation album—after '' ...Hits'' (1998), '' The Platinum Collection'' (2004) and '' Love Songs: A Compilation... Old and New'' (2004)—and came at the end of his ''Take a Look at Me Now'' series, which saw him remaster and reissue his entire back catalogue dating back to 1981's ''Face Value''. The compilation is made up of most of the hit singles from Collins' solo career, as well as lesser known singles. The album was released in two versions, a standard 2-CD edition and a deluxe 3-CD edition. The compilation was not originally released in North America, where it was replaced by its counterpart ''Catching Up with Depeche Mode''. This was the first release to feature a picture of the band on the cover (aside from the compilation album '' People Are People'', which was released exclusively in North America in 1984).
