Preston Reed (born April 13, 1955) is an American fingerstyle guitarist. He is noted for a two-handed playing style and compositional approach that uses the guitar's body as a percussion instrument. Biography Reed learned guitar as a child on his father's guitar and, for a short time, studied classical guitar. When he was 16 his interest was rekindled by Jorma Kaukonen's acoustic guitar-playing in Hot Tuna. He began to compose his own songs in the style of Leo Kottke and John Fahey. His first public performance was at Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C., in a concert with poet Allen Ginsberg. Reed moved to Scotland in 2000. Technique and musical influences Reed plays with his fingers, thumbs, fists and hands at once. He is also a player of blues or ballads reminiscent of Bill Evans, one of his musical idols. Six Feet Deep was an American punk and heavy metal band started in 1991, which became popular in the mid-west United States due to success of their debut album. A review on ''Cross Rhythms'' of the band's album, ''Struggle'' was a 10/10 review. Their second album, '' The Road Less Traveled'', made Sputnik Music's No. 5 on the "Metalcore Bible: Part 1". History The band started in 1991, with members Myk Porter, Tom Wohlfield, Matt Simmons, and Mike Shaffer. The Road Less Travelled is the second studio album by Norwegian heavy metal band Triosphere. It was released in 2010 by AFM Records. It is the first album to including new guitarist Tor Ole Byberg, with the band expanding into a quartet. The album's style is different from its predecessor, '' Onwards'', as it has a more melodic sound. "Echoes" is an all-piano and cello instrumental medley of the tracks 2 to 10. The Japanese edition also includes "Lawless", in tribute to Blackie Lawless, and a cover of the Guns N' Roses's song "Welcome to the Jungle". Boyce Avenue is an American cover band formed in Sarasota, Florida, by brothers Alejandro Luis Manzano, Daniel Enrique Manzano, and Fabian Rafael Manzano. In this episode, a draft dodger is haunted by visions of the Vietnam War he evaded going to. Plot A young girl named Megan tells her parents a man is in her room, but they do not believe her. When her father Jeff puts her back into bed, he has a brief but vivid hallucination of the Vietnam War. Jeff is plagued by guilt over his having evaded the Vietnam-era draft by moving to Canada. The next day, Megan claims that the man is upstairs and talked to her. Her mother, Denise, sees the man Megan spoke about and screams for Jeff.
