Remix
A remix (or reorchestration) is a piece of media which has been altered or contorted from its original state by adding, removing, or changing pieces of the item. A song, piece of artwork, book, video, poem, or photograph can all be remixes. The only characteristic of a remix is that it appropriates and changes other materials to create something new. Most commonly, remixes are a subset of audio mixing in music and song recordings. Songs may be remixed for a large variety of reasons: * to adapt or revise a song for radio or nightclub play * to create a stereo or surround sound version of a song where none was previously available * to improve the fidelity of an older song for which the original master has been lost or degraded * to alter a song to suit a specific music genre or radio format * to use some of the original song's materials in a new context, allowing the original song to reach a different audience * to alter a song for artistic purposes * to provide additional version ...

Arrangement
In music, an arrangement is a musical adaptation of an existing composition. Differences from the original composition may include reharmonization, melodic paraphrasing, orchestration, or formal development. Arranging differs from orchestration in that the latter process is limited to the assignment of notes to instruments for performance by an orchestra, concert band, or other musical ensemble. Arranging "involves adding compositional techniques, such as new thematic material for introductions, transitions, or modulations, and endings. Arranging is the art of giving an existing melody musical variety".(Corozine 2002, p. 3) In jazz, a memorized (unwritten) arrangement of a new or pre-existing composition is known as a ''head arrangement''. Classical music Arrangement and transcriptions of classical and serious music go back to the early history of this genre. Eighteenth century J.S. Bach frequently made arrangements of his own and other composers' piec ...

Solidity
Solidity is an object-oriented programming language for implementing smart contracts on various blockchain platforms, most notably, Ethereum. It was developed by Christian Reitwiessner, Alex Beregszaszi, and several former Ethereum core contributors. Programs in Solidity run on Ethereum#Virtual machine, Ethereum Virtual Machine. History Solidity was proposed in August 2014 by Gavin Wood; the language was later developed by the Ethereum project's Solidity team, led by Christian Reitwiessner. Solidity is the primary language on Ethereum as well as on other private blockchains, such as the enterprise-oriented Hyperledger Fabric blockchain. SWIFT deployed a proof of concept using Solidity running on Hyperledger Fabric. Description Solidity is a statically typed programming language designed for developing smart contracts that run on the Ethereum#Virtual machine, Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). Solidity uses ECMAScript-like syntax which makes it familiar for existing web develo ...

Remix OS
Remix OS was a computer operating system for personal computers with x86 and ARM architectures that, prior to discontinuation of development, shipped with a number of 1st- and 3rd-party devices. Remix OS allowed PC users to run apps made for Android mobile apps on any compatible Intel-based PC. In January 2016 Jide announced a beta version of their operating system called ''Remix OS for PC'', which is based on Android-x86 — a x86-port of the Android operating system — and available for download for free from their website. The beta version of Remix OS for PC brings hard drive installation, 32-bit support, UEFI support and OTA updates. Except for the free software licensed parts available on GitHub, unlike Android-x86, the source code of Remix OS is not available to the public. Google Mobile Services (GMS) were removed from the Remix Mini after Remix OS Update: 3.0.207 which Jide claimed was to "ensure a consistent experience across all Android devices for all." Later comm ...

Remix Fuel
Remix Fuel was developed in Russia to make use of Mixed Recycled Uranium and Plutonium from spent nuclear fuel to manufacture fresh fuel suitable for widespread use in Russian reactor designs. Compared to "conventional" MOX-fuel MOX or Mixed Oxide Fuel as deployed in some western European and East Asian nations generally consists of depleted Uranium mixed with between 4% and 7% reactor grade plutonium. Only a few Generation II and about half of Generation III reactor designs are MOX fuel compliant allowing them to use a 100% MOX fuel load with no safety concerns. Nuclear physics background However all moderated reactors using lightly enriched Uranium fuel produce Plutonium in the course of normal operation as Uranium-238 (typically 94% to 97% of the uranium content in lightly enriched uranium) captures neutrons and undergoes successive beta decays until it is transmuted to plutonium-239. This internally produced Plutonium increases in percentage until it is common enough that ...

Re-mix
re-mix is an open-source software, open-source library (GNU Lesser General Public License, LGPL) hosted on codeplex to bring the mixin technology to C Sharp (programming language), C# and Visual Basic.NET. History .NET Framework, .NET does not offer multiple inheritance. Nevertheless, in some use cases multiple inheritance support would be helpful for .NET applications. In languages such as Ruby (programming language), Ruby these use cases were solved with mixins. The companrubiconcreated a mixin library for the Microsoft .NET Framework Lang.NET Symposium to add multiple inheritance to their own applications. The mixin library became part of the open source frameworre-motion In March 2011, re-mix has been published on CodePlex as spin-off project of re-motion. References
