Edward Joseph Mahoney (March 21, 1949 – September 13, 2019), known professionally as Eddie Money, was an American singer and songwriter who, in the 1970s and 1980s, had eleven Top 40 songs, including "Baby Hold On", "Two Tickets to Paradise", " Think I'm in Love", " Shakin'", " Take Me Home Tonight", " I Wanna Go Back", " Walk on Water", and " The Love in Your Eyes". Critic Neil Genzlinger of ''The New York Times'' called him a working-class rocker and Kristin Hall of the Associated Press stated he had a husky voice. In 1987, he was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance for "Take Me Home Tonight". ''Where's the Party?'' is the fifth studio album by American rock musician Eddie Money. The album was released in October 1983, by Wolfgang Records and Columbia Records. Money described the album as more upbeat and positive than his previous album '' No Control'', saying, "We're ready to rock.... We're all in a party mood, and the album reflects that." The album peaked at #67 on the ''Billboard'' 200 album chart, making it Money's lowest-charting album up to that time. Critic Lennox Samuels of Independent Press Service wrote in his review, "The party's not on this record, anyway. Side 1 is an undistinguished assortment of mid- to uptempo rock tunes." "Shakin'" is a song by American rock singer Eddie Money from his Platinum-certified album '' No Control'', released in 1982. It was co-written by Money, Elizabeth Myers, and Ralph Carter, and released as a single, reaching #63 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart and #9 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks.
