Habitat For Humanity International
Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI), generally referred to as Habitat for Humanity or Habitat, is a US non-governmental, and nonprofit organization which was founded in 1976 by couple Millard and Linda Fuller. Habitat for Humanity is a Christian organization. The international operational headquarters are located in Americus, Georgia, United States, with the administrative headquarters located in Atlanta. As of 2020, Habitat for Humanity operates in more than 70 countries. The mission statement of Habitat for Humanity is "Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope". Homes are built using volunteer labor and Habitat makes no profit from the sales. Christopher August Megert (born March 20, 1982) is an American Contemporary Christian musician who performs under the stage name Chris August. August began recording as a secular musician before switching to Christian music. His song "Starry Night" reached No. 1 on the ''Billboard'' Christian Songs chart in 2010/2011. He was nominated at the 2011 Dove Awards in five categories, including Best New Artist and Song of the Year. Music career August began recording music in his early teens after his father built a studio in their home in Garland, Texas. Love Does, formerly known as Restore International, is a nonprofit organization founded by Bob Goff in 2003. Their goal is to work for freedom and human rights, improve educational opportunities, and try to be helpful to those in need of a voice and a friend. History Restore International was founded in 2003 by Bob Goff after a trip to India where he witnessed extreme human rights violations. Restore India began with efforts to free those in bonded labor, human trafficking, or who were otherwise exploited. In 2006, they began working in Uganda in human rights and education. In March 2014 they launched a program in Somalia to improve educational opportunities, safety care for women and children, and feeding programs. RESTORE (DOS Command)
This article presents a list of commands used by DOS operating systems, especially as used on x86-based IBM PC compatibles (PCs). Other DOS operating systems are not part of the scope of this list. In DOS, many standard system commands were provided for common tasks such as listing files on a disk or moving files. Some commands were built into the command interpreter, others existed as external commands on disk. Over the several generations of DOS, commands were added for the additional functions of the operating system. In the current Microsoft Windows operating system, a text-mode command prompt window, cmd.exe, can still be used. When an application exits, if the transient portion of the command interpreter in memory was overwritten, DOS will reload it from disk.
