''Phase II'' is the second studio album by American singer Prince Royce; it was released on April 10, 2012, by Top Stop Music. The 12-track album (with two acoustic bonus tracks) saw Royce incorporate a variety of music styles to his work, including bachata, Latin pop, R&B and mariachi. ''Phase II'' contains songs in both English and Spanish, with melodies atypical to traditional bachata music, which had been regarded as Royce's main music genre since the release of his eponymous debut studio album in 2010. Three singles were released to promote the album in 2012. In the United States, the album's lead single, "Las Cosas Pequeñas" debuted at number one on the '' Billboard'' Tropical Songs chart, and eventually also reached number one on the ''Billboard'' Hot Latin Songs chart. ''Phase 2'' (stylised in all caps) is the third studio album by Japanese electronicore band Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas. It was released on 6 August 2014 through VAP. It debuted at number 4 on Oricon chart with sales of 21,978 copies in Japan in its opening week. The single for the album, "Rave-up Tonight", was released on 25 January 2014. Johnny Smith
Johnny Henry Smith II (June 25, 1922 – June 11, 2013) was an American cool jazz and mainstream jazz guitarist. He wrote "Walk, Don't Run" in 1954. In 1984, Smith was inducted into the Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame. Early life During the Great Depression, Smith's family moved from Birmingham, Alabama, where Smith was born, through several cities, ending up in Portland, Maine. Smith taught himself to play guitar in pawnshops, which let him play in exchange for keeping the guitars in tune. At thirteen years of age he was teaching others to play the guitar. One of Smith's students bought a new guitar and gave him his old guitar, which became the first guitar Smith owned. Smith joined Uncle Lem and the Mountain Boys, a local hillbilly band that travelled around Maine, performing at dances, fairs, and similar venues. Smith earned four dollars a night. Phase II Pan Groove
Phase II Pan Groove is a steel orchestra from Trinidad and Tobago. Band Phase II Pan Groove was formed in August 1972 by a group of seven innovative musicians (Barry Howard, Rawle Mitchell, Andy Phillip, Selwyn Tarradath, Ian Clyde Gibson, Noel Seon and Len "Boogsie" Sharpe) seeking to produce a more creative sound on pan, by experimenting not only with different types of music, but also with the combined effects of contemporary instruments and pan. These six musicians broke off from Starlift in order to become professional panmen. They bought some pans of their own from money they saved while in Starlift and, along with tuners Lennox Granger and Mikey Phillip, took up residence on Hamilton Street, Woodbrook, opposite the Tarradath residence. ''Phase Two: Slowboat to Hades'' is a compilation DVD by Gorillaz, released in October 2006. The DVD is similar to the band's first DVD, '' Phase One: Celebrity Take Down'', but compiles the videos and animatics related to the release of the band's second album, ''Demon Days'', as well as the related singles. The DVD includes most of the materials released by Gorillaz from 2004 to 2006, which includes the full videos for " Rock It", "Feel Good Inc.", "Dare", "Dirty Harry" and " El Mañana". It includes the MTV EMAs, and Brits live performances. Also included is the Gorillaz' ''MTV Cribs'' episode, the Phase Two Gorillaz bites, a new Kong Studios guide, a gallery, and short interviews. Plus, it features a few hidden extras found in certain rooms. The DVD is bundled with a CD-ROM featuring games and wallpapers. Michael Lawrence Marrow (August 2, 1955 – December 12, 2019), known as PHASE 2 and Lonny Wood, was an American aerosol paint artist based in New York City. Mostly active in the 1970s, Phase 2 is generally credited with originating the "bubble letter" style of aerosol writing, also known as "softies". Early life Born to the late John Thomas Marrow and Adele C. Marrow. He was a native of The Bronx, and attended DeWitt Clinton High School. Many famous graffiti writers of the early 1970s would meet at a doughnut shop across from the school before heading down to the 149th Street–Grand Concourse station to watch tagged trains on the IRT subway lines pass.
