Park Hill, Denver
Park Hill is a neighborhood in Denver, Colorado, U.S. Located in the northeastern quadrant of the city, it is bordered by Colorado Boulevard on the west, East Colfax Avenue on the south, Quebec Street on the east, and East 52nd Avenue on the north. The entire Park Hill neighborhood is located in the area known as East Denver. It is further divided by the City and County of Denver into three administrative neighborhoods, South Park Hill, North Park Hill, and Northeast Park Hill. History In 1887, Baron Alois von Winckler platted the original Park Hill development on of land he owned east of City Park. This development was bordered by present-day Montview Boulevard on the south, Colorado Boulevard on the west, East 26th Avenue on the north, and Dahlia Street on the east, placing it in what is now the western portion of South Park Hill. Allan Parkhill
Allan Archibald Parkhill (22 April 1912 – 26 August 1986) was a New Zealand rugby union player. A Rugby union positions#Number eight, number eight, Parkhill represented and at a provincial level, and was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, in 1837 and 1938. He played 10 matches for the All Blacks including six internationals, scoring three tries in all. Parkhill died in Dunedin on 26 August 1986, and his ashes were buried at Andersons Bay Cemetery. Pulaski County, Arkansas
Pulaski County is located in the U.S. state of Arkansas with a population of 399,125, making it the most populous county in Arkansas. The county is included in the Little Rock–North Little Rock– Conway metropolitan area. Its county seat is Little Rock, which is also Arkansas's capital and largest city. Pulaski County is Arkansas's fifth county, formed on December 15, 1818, alongside Clark and Hempstead Counties. Pulaski County is named for Brigadier General Casimir Pulaski, a Polish-born Continental Army officer who was killed in action at the Siege of Savannah during the Revolutionary War. The county was the site of the Battle of Bayou Fourche on September 10, 1863. The Union army took control the same day and occupied Pulaski County until the end of the Civil War. Clifton is a neighborhood on the North Shore of Staten Island in New York City, United States. It is an older waterfront neighborhood, facing Upper New York Bay on the east. It is bordered on the north by Stapleton, on the south by Rosebank, on the southwest by Concord, and on the west by Van Duzer Street. Park Hill (Paris, Arkansas)
Park Hill is a historic house at 400 East Wahl Street in Paris, Arkansas. It is a large two-story brick building, with Mediterranean style. It has a red tile hip roof, with a three-bay porch projecting from its five-bay facade, and a porte cochere on the west side. The house was built in 1929-30 as a wedding present from Charles Wahl to his wife, and was designed by Bassham and Wheeler of Fort Smith, Arkansas. It is a distinctive local example of the Mediterranean Revival style. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013. Park Hill Historic District
The Park Hill Historic District encompasses the first suburban residential subdivision of the city of North Little Rock, Arkansas. It covers in a geographically central part of the city, bisected by JFK Boulevard, and roughly bounded on the north by H Avenue, the west by Ridge Road, the east by Cedar Street and Plainview Circle, and the south by Crestview Drive. This area was developed beginning in 1922 by Justin Matthews, a major local developer, and greatly expanded the city's housing stock through the 1940s and 1950s. The vast majority of its architecture is residential, with commercial development limited to its major arterial roadways. The district includes Crestview Park and the Park Hill Fire Station and Water Company Complex. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000. Park Hill, also known as the Young-Faulkner House or Faulkner's Park Hill, is a -story Colonial Revival residence built in the late 1890s in Lincoln, Nebraska. Park Hill is listed in the National Register of Historic Places, and is significant for its architectural features—including the house, a garage, and a bridge—as well as its landscape, nearly three and a half acres of land bordered by thick, mature plantings of trees. Park Hill, Yonkers
Park Hill is a neighborhood in southwestern Yonkers, New York. The neighborhood is located atop a bluff east of South Broadway. The neighborhood was developed in 1888 by the American Real Estate Company of Manhattan as one of the first planned communities in the New York metropolitan area. The neighborhood's centerpiece for a short time was the Hendric Hudson Hotel, designed by Bruce Price, the architect of the Château Frontenac in Quebec City.
