Moore said: "We recorded this album in April 1978, when we did gigs at The Meeting Place, Pat Dowling's of Prosperous, Trinity College and the Grapevine Arts centre in North Great George's Street. One number, 'Clydes Bonnie Banks', was recorded in Nicholas Ryan's front room. We got great assistance from Ireland's greatest roadcrew, John McFadden and Leon Brennan. Kíla
Kíla is a 1987 Irish folk music/world music group from the Gaelscoil, Irish language secondary school, Coláiste Eoin, Coláiste Eóin in County Dublin. Band History Kíla began in 1987 in the secondary in Coláiste Eoin, in the first year they busked nearly every week and played 44 concerts, mostly at their father's publishing company book launches, their mother's art exhibition openings and their brother's political campaign launches. Their first pay-in concert was upstairs in the Baggot Inn and was attended by only 3 people one of which was the broadcaster Bláthnaid Ní Chofaigh and her school friend Nóra Ní Chonchubhair and the Music historian and musician but then didgeridoo player Siomon O Dwyer. ''Live in Dublin'' is the second live album by Irish folk rock band Moving Hearts, recorded in 2007 at the Vicar Street venue in Dublin by Tim Martin. Noel Eccles and Keith Donald were executive producers, and the album was mixed by Andrew Boland and mastered by Martin Giles at Alchemy, in London.Sleeve notes from ''Live in Dublin'', Rubyworks 7 4484 2, 2008. Recording For this series of performances at Vicar Street, the band were augmented by Kevin Glackin (fiddle) and Graham Henderson (keyboards) but minus Flo McSweeney (vocals), thereby rekindling the instrumental format adopted for the recording of '' The Storm'' (1985). Previous band members also missing from this line-up included Declan Sinnott (guitar) and Declan Masterson (uilleann pipes). The High Kings
The High Kings is an Irish folk group formed in Dublin in 2008. The band consists of Finbarr Clancy, Brian Dunphy, Darren Holden, and Paul O'Brien. As of 2020, the group had released five studio albums, four live albums, and two live DVDs, and one greatest hits album. Their first three studio albums appeared at number three or higher on the ''Billboard'' world music chart, the first two went platinum in Ireland, and all of their albums charted in Ireland. After the release of their first album, the new group moved from a highly staged format to a more natural performance style. Their third album ''Friends for Life'' contains both traditional Irish songs, as well as some original songs. Since the inception of the group, it has toured Ireland, the United States, and Europe on several occasions.
