Kingdom (South Korean TV Series)
''Kingdom'' () is a 2019 South Korean period horror streaming television series, created and written by Kim Eun-hee and based on the webtoon series ''The Kingdom of the Gods'' (신의나라:버닝헬) by writer Kim Eun-hee and artist Yang Kyung-il. As Netflix's first original Korean series, it premiered on January 25, 2019. It stars Ju Ji-hoon, Ryu Seung-ryong, Bae Doo-na, Kim Sang-ho, Kim Sung-kyu and Kim Hye-jun. The entire first season, and the first episode of the second were directed by Kim Seong-hun, with Park In-je directing the remainder of that season. is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yasuhisa Hara. It has been serialized in Shueisha's ''seinen'' manga magazine ''Weekly Young Jump'' since January 2006, with its chapters collected in 66 ''tankōbon'' volumes as of September 2022. ''Kingdom'' provides a fictionalized account of the Warring States period primarily through the experiences of the war orphan Xin and his comrades as he fights to become the greatest general under the heavens, and in doing so, unifying China for the first time in 500 years. Park Yong-wook (born 6 December 1983) is a former South Korean professional ''StarCraft'' player who played under the alias Kingdom. He has since retired to become a commentator. Kingdom, nicknamed "Devil Toss," was one of the world's best Protoss versus Protoss players and is known for his technical unit control. He won a single Ongamenet Starleague (OSL). ''Kingdom'' is a strategy and resource management game developed by Thomas van den Berg and Marco Bancale with support from publisher Raw Fury. The title was released on 21 October 2015 for Microsoft Windows, OS X, and Linux systems. A port for Xbox One was released on 8 August 2016, the ports for iOS and Android were released on 31 January 2017, and the ports for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 were released on 14 September 2017 and 16 January 2018 respectively. ''Kingdom'' is a British television series produced by Parallel Film and Television Productions for the ITV network. It was created by Simon Wheeler and stars Stephen Fry as Peter Kingdom, a Norfolk solicitor who is coping with family, colleagues, and the strange locals who come to him for legal assistance. The series also starred Hermione Norris, Celia Imrie, Karl Davies, Phyllida Law and Tony Slattery. The first series of six one-hour episodes was aired in 2007 and averaged six million viewers per week. Kingdom (film)
is a 2019 Japanese film directed by Shinsuke Sato and produced by Sony Pictures Japan. It is an adaptation of the manga series of the same name, created by Yasuhisa Hara and published by Shueisha. The screenplay was written by Tsutomu Kuroiwa, Shinsuke Sato and Yasuhisa Hara. Kento Yamazaki, who starred in a 3-minute short of the same name released in 2016, reprises his role as the film's protagonist with a supporting cast that includes Ryo Yoshizawa, Kanna Hashimoto, Masami Nagasawa, Kanata Hongō and Takao Osawa.
