Head On (Super Collider Album)
''Head On'' is the debut album by English-based electronic duo Super Collider, consisting of producers Christian Vogel and Jamie Lidell. It was released in May 1999 by Loaded Records. The collaboration emerged in 1998 when the two producers began sharing the same studio in Brighton and soon began creating music together. Their initial work together produced the songs "Under My Nose" and "Darn (Cold Way O' Lovin')", both included on the album, but believing them to be too stylistically orthodox, the duo pursued a more distinctive sound for the remaining material. Taking influence from funk music, in particular the music of Sly Stone, ''Head On'' is an experimental techno record that combines Vogel's abstract production with the funk influences and Lidell's soulful but effects-heavy singing. Co-produced by the duo, the album received acclaim from music critics, who drew attention to its influences and production. "It Won't Be Long" and "Take Me Home" were issued together as a doub ...

HeadOn
HeadOn is the brand name of a topical product claimed to relieve headaches. It achieved widespread notoriety in 2006 as a result of a repetitive commercial, consisting only of the tagline "HeadOn. Apply directly to the forehead", stated three times in succession. Originally sold as a homeopathic preparation, the brand was transferred in 2008 to Sirvision, Inc., who re-introduced the product with a new formulation. Commercial HeadOn's notoriety came in part because of its advertisements on cable and daytime programming on broadcast television which consisted of using only the tagline "HeadOn. Apply directly to the forehead", stated three times in succession, accompanied by a video of a model using the product without ever directly stating the product's purpose. Manufacturer Miralus Healthcare decided not to include any factual claims about the product in the spots after the National Advertising Division of the Better Business Bureau objected to the claim that HeadOn provided ...

Head-on Collision
A head-on collision is a traffic collision where the front ends of two vehicles such as cars, trains, ships or planes hit each other when travelling in opposite directions, as opposed to a side collision or rear-end collision. Rail transport With railways, a head-on collision occurs most often on a single line railway. This usually means that at least one of the trains has passed a signal at danger, or that a signalman has made a major error. Head-on collisions may also occur at junctions, for similar reasons. In the early days of railroading in the United States, such collisions were quite common and gave to the rise of the term "Cornfield Meet". As time progressed and signalling became more standardized, such accidents became less frequent. Even so, the term still sees some usage in the industry. The origins of the term are not well known, but it is attributed to accidents happening in rural America where farming and cornfields were common. The first known usage of the ...
