From Russia, With Love (novel)
''From Russia, with Love'' is the fifth novel by the English author Ian Fleming to feature his fictional British Secret Service agent James Bond. Fleming wrote the story in early 1956 at his Goldeneye estate in Jamaica; at the time he thought it might be his final Bond book. The novel was first published in the United Kingdom by Jonathan Cape on 8 April 1957. The story centres on a plot by SMERSH, the Soviet counter-intelligence agency, to assassinate Bond in such a way as to discredit both him and his organisation. As bait, the Russians use a beautiful cipher clerk Tatiana Romanova and the Spektor, a Soviet decoding machine. Much of the action takes place in Istanbul and on the Orient Express. The book was inspired by Fleming's visit to Turkey on behalf of ''The Sunday Times'' to report on an Interpol conference; he returned to Britain by the Orient Express. ''From Russia, with Love'' deals with the East–West tensions of the Cold War, and the decline of British power and ...

From Russia With Love (soundtrack)
''From Russia with Love'' is the soundtrack for the second James Bond film, '' From Russia With Love''. This is the first series film with John Barry as the primary soundtrack composer. John Barry, arranger of Monty Norman's "James Bond Theme" for '' Dr. No'', would be the dominant Bond series composer for most of its history and the inspiration for fellow series composer, David Arnold (who uses cues from this soundtrack in his own for ''Tomorrow Never Dies''). The theme song was composed by Lionel Bart of ''Oliver!'' fame and sung by Matt Monro. Production Following the decision of the producers not to use Monty Norman, though keeping his "James Bond Theme", Harry Saltzman decided on using the then popular Lionel Bart of ''Oliver!'' fame. Bart was unable to read or write music, but he offered to compose the music and lyrics for a title song to the film. The producers chose John Barry to score the film. Barry had not only arranged and conducted the "James Bond Theme" from t ...

From Russia With Love (video Game)
''James Bond 007: From Russia with Love'' is a 2005 third-person shooter video game developed by EA Redwood Shores and published by Electronic Arts. The game is based on From Russia with Love (film), the 1963 film of the same name, but with several changes, including additional characters, locations, and a different villainous organisation. Additionally, it features elements of later Bond films such as the Aston Martin DB5 that debuted in ''Goldfinger (film), Goldfinger'' (1964) and the jet pack from ''Thunderball (film), Thunderball'' (1965). ''From Russia with Love'' is notable in that it is the only video game to use Sean Connery's younger likeness as James Bond and the first to include all new voice work by the actor after twenty-two years away from the role, marking his eighth and final performance as Bond across any medium before his death in 2020. ''From Russia with Love'' is also the last James Bond video game developed or published by Electronic Arts before they lost the ...
