Battledrome
Metaltech: Battledrome is a mecha-style simulation video game in the '' Metaltech'' series developed by Dynamix and released in 1994. It was published alongside its companion game '' Earthsiege'' and shares roughly the same gaming mechanics and strategy but takes place in a completely different setting. Graphics The game features a fully three-dimensional simulation of mech combat. All in-game objects are textured and there are rudimentary physics present, however this caused the game to have high hardware requirements for computers at the time. Gameplay The player competes against other players (over a network) or against AI-players for local game. The player must purchase equipment such as the HERC chassis, generators, shields, servos as well as weapons and then challenge others to fight against them. ''Starsiege'' is a mecha-style vehicle simulation game developed by Dynamix and released in 1999. ''Starsiege'' is set in the Metaltech/ Earthsiege universe, which contains its predecessors '' Earthsiege'' (1994), '' Battledrome'' (1994), and ''Earthsiege 2'' (1996). This universe also includes action game '' Hunter Hunted'' (1996), strategy games '' Mission Force: Cyberstorm'' (1996) and '' Cyberstorm 2: Corporate Wars'' (1998). It also includes the sequels '' Starsiege: Tribes'' (actually released before ''Starsiege'') and all subsequent ''Tribes'' titles. ''Tribes'' is a series of five science fiction first-person shooter video games released between 1998 and 2012. The game plot is set in the far future (2471 – 3940). ''MissionForce: CyberStorm'' (commonly referred to as ''CyberStorm'') is a turn-based strategy game developed by Dynamix and published in 1996 by Sierra On-Line.
