D’oh!
"D'oh!" () is the most famous catchphrase used by the fictional character Homer Simpson, from the television series '' The Simpsons,'' an animated sitcom (1989–present). It is an exclamation typically used after Homer injures himself, realizes that he has done something foolish, or when something bad has happened or is about to happen to him. All his prominent blood relations—son Bart, daughters Lisa and Maggie, his father, his mother and half-brother—have also been heard to use it themselves in similar circumstances. On a few occasions, Homer's wife Marge and characters outside the family such as Mr. Burns and Sideshow Bob have also used this phrase. In 2006, "d'oh!" was listed as number six on TV Land's list of the 100 greatest television catchphrases. The spoken word "d'oh" is a sound trademark of 20th Century Fox (now known as 20th Century Studios). Diana Morrison
Diana Morrison (born 1969) is a British stage, television and film actress. Career summary Diana Morrison was born in Swansea, Wales, but grew up in London, England. While training at the Arts Educational Schools, London, she danced with the Festival Ballet (now the English National Ballet) in ''The Nutcracker'' and was a member of the National Youth Theatre and the National Youth Choir. She played the principal role of Jenny in Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical ''Aspects of Love'' directed by Trevor Nunn, in the original London West End production at the Prince of Wales Theatre throughout the whole run, from 1989 until 1992. Morrison sang the role of Jenny on the original London cast recording and also recorded a duet from the show "The First Man You Remember" with Michael Ball. Mona Penelope Simpson (née Olsen) was a fictional guest character in the animated television series ''The Simpsons''. She is voiced most prominently by Glenn Close, but has also been voiced by Maggie Roswell, Tress MacNeille, and Pamela Hayden. Close's performances as Mona have been well received by critics and she was named one of the top 25 guest stars on the show by IGN. Mona was the estranged wife of Abe Simpson, the mother-in-law of Marge Simpson, and the mother of Homer Simpson.
