''Crumbling'' () is the second studio album by South Korean folktronica artist Mid-Air Thief. The album features vocals by South Korean indie singer-songwriter Summer Soul. It was released on July 31, 2018. It was nominated at the Korean Music Awards in 2019 in the categories "Album of the Year" and "Best Dance & Electronic Album" and won the latter. Background The album gained attention from online music communities such as Album of The Year and Rate Your Music, where on the former, it is currently the 3rd highest-rated album of 2018 and on the latter, the 4th highest. Release ''Crumbling'' was released independently in South Korea on July 31, 2018 and in United States on August 7, 2018. It was released in Japan on December 4, 2018 by Botanical House. "Crumbling Land" is a song by Pink Floyd from the soundtrack album of the film ''Zabriskie Point''. History It is an up-tempo, country-styled song. David Gilmour and Rick Wright provided the vocals. In the booklet of Zabriskie Point soundtrack's reissue, there is a note about what David Gilmour said about the song in an interview; he described the song as "''a kind of country & western number which he ilm director Antonionicould have gotten done better by any number of American bands. But he chose us — very strange.''". The music is similar to instrumental " Unknown Song/Rain in the Country". Take 2 of "Rain in the Country" ends in "Crumbling Land". ''Crumbling the Antiseptic Beauty'' is the debut album by the English rock band Felt. Recorded in 1981, it was released in February 1982 by Cherry Red Records. Band leader Lawrence features on the cover. The opening track "Evergreen Dazed" is instrumental. The second track "Fortune" was later re-recorded and released on the band's 1984 single ''Sunlight Bathed the Golden Glow''. Similarly, a re-recording of "Cathedral" appears on the ''Primitive Painters'' single. Critical reception In an AllMusic album review, critic Tim Sendra rated ''Crumbling the Antiseptic Beauty'' with three-and-a-half out five stars noting its "New York City scene of the '70s and the gloomy psychedelia of the '60s" influences, and overall describing it as "skeletal and mysterious". ''Up and Crumbling'' is an EP released by the American alternative rock band Gin Blossoms on October 8, 1991. It was released after the Gin Blossoms signed with A&M Records and, while attempting to create a full-length album, ran into a creative drought during the recording sessions.
