The Bradford Bulls are a professional rugby league club in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England, and compete in the Championship, the second tier of British rugby league. The club have won the League Championship six times, the Challenge Cup five times and three World Club Challenge titles. They have also won many smaller things such as The RFL Yorkshire Cup 11 times. The club was originally founded as Bradford Northern, but were renamed Bradford Bulls in 1996. Bradford's main rivalries are with Leeds, Halifax and Huddersfield. They have played the majority of their existence at Odsal and their traditional kit colours are white with red, amber and black chevrons. History 1863–1907: Bradford F.C. Bradford is a city status in the United Kingdom, city and the administrative centre of the City of Bradford district in West Yorkshire, England. The city is in the Pennines' eastern foothills on the banks of the Bradford Beck. Bradford had a population of 349,561 at the 2011 Census for England and Wales, 2011 census; the second-largest population centre in the county after Leeds, which is to the east of the city. It shares West Yorkshire Built-up Area, a continuous built-up area with the towns of Shipley, West Yorkshire, Shipley, Silsden, Bingley and Keighley in the district as well as with the metropolitan county's other districts.
