''Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem'' is an American soap opera limited series. It is a spin-off of the flagship ''Days of Our Lives'' television series. It premiered on Peacock on September 6, 2021, with a daily episode through September 10, 2021. ''Beyond Salem: Chapter 2'', a second season of five episodes, premiered on July 11, 2022. Premise The series follows the adventures of current and former characters of ''Days of Our Lives'' outside of Salem, Illinois. Actor James Reynolds has played the character since he originated it on the series in 1981, and is currently the fifth longest serving actor on the show. William Flynn (born May 29, 1985) is an American actor and producer. He is known for portraying Chad DiMera on the NBC soap opera ''Days of Our Lives''. Early life Flynn was born in St. Francis, Minnesota. He graduated from St. Cloud State University in 2007, majoring in finance and minoring in economics. In the same year Flynn did an internship and worked at Accenture as a financial analyst. In 2010 he took a job as an analyst at Warner Bros. Studios, where he worked for four years.
