''Beyond'' is the eighth full-length album by the German power metal band Freedom Call. It was released on February 21, 2014, by SPV. A vinyl version of Beyond was released on March 14, 2014. Beyond marked the return of founding member, bassist Ilker Ersin, and the addition of Ramy Ali on drums. Critical reception Beyond received generally very positive reviews upon release, although the majority of these reviews were by genre-related or genre-specific reviewers. "Beyond" is a three-minute long instrumental song by the band the Moody Blues from their 1969 album ''To Our Children's Children's Children'', a concept album about space travel. "Beyond" was written by the Moody Blues' drummer Graeme Edge. It was the Moody Blues' second fully instrumental song on one of their albums. The first was the song " The Voyage" from their previous album ''On the Threshold of a Dream''. It was also the first released Moody Blues song written by Edge that did not involve spoken vocals. Herb Alpert (born March 31, 1935) is an American trumpeter who led the band Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass in the 1960s. During the same decade, he co-founded A&M Records with Jerry Moss. Alpert has recorded 28 albums that have landed on the ''Billboard'' 200 chart, five of which became No. 1 albums; he has had 14 platinum albums and 15 gold albums. Alpert is the only musician to hit No. 1 on the U.S. ''Billboard'' Hot 100 as both a vocalist ("This Guy's in Love with You", 1968) and an instrumentalist ("Rise", 1979). Hiromitsu Agatsuma (上妻 宏光 ''Agatsuma Hiromitsu'', born July 27, 1973) is a Japanese shamisen artist who plays the Tsugaru-jamisen, a larger shamisen with thicker strings than those used for most other styles. He was born in Hitachi, Ibaraki Prefecture. Early life Agatsuma began studying the Tsugaru-jamisen at the age of six, and earned his first accolade - top prize at the 1988 All-Japan Tsugaru-jamisen Competition - at 14.
