''Between Friends'' is a 1924 American silent melodrama film based on the eponymous 1914 novel by Robert W. Chambers. The film was directed by J. Stuart Blackton and produced by Albert E. Smith. It stars Lou Tellegen, Anna Q. Nilsson, and Norman Kerry. The feature was distributed by Vitagraph Studios, which was founded by Blackton and Smith in 1897 in Brooklyn, New York. The film is lost. Synopsis Jack Greylock runs away with the wife of his lifelong friend, David Drene, a sculptor. Drene only knows that his wife has fled; he does not know the identity of the man with whom she went. The wife kills herself from remorse and Greylock returns to keep up the semblance of his ancient friendship with the sculptor, who buries his sorrow in his work. Cecile Waite, a model, poses for Drene and Greylock, upon meeting her, falls honestly in love with her. She, however, loves Drene, who is apparently oblivious. It was entered into the 23rd Berlin International Film Festival, and was featured in the Canadian Cinema television series which aired on CBC Television in 1974. Plot A botched mine robbery in Northern Ontario involves the troubled quartet of Chino (Chuck Shamata), his American surfing buddy Toby (Michael Parks), his girlfriend's father (Henry Beckman) and Coker (Hugh Webster). While the robbery is being planned, Chino's girlfriend Ellie (Bonnie Bedelia) becomes attracted to Toby. ''Between Friends'', released by Azica Records in 2006, features the Randy Napoleon Trio on half the tracks and a quartet featuring master pianist Benny Green on the others. The trio is Randy Napoleon (guitar), Jared Gold (organ), and Quincy Davis (drums). The quartet is Napoleon, Davis, Green, and David Wong (bass). The song ''Between Friends.'' does not appear on this album. ''Duality'' (stylized as ''DU∆LITY'') is the debut mixtape from Captain Murphy, the animated rapper alter-ego of experimental musician Flying Lotus. Between Friends is an American musical group, composed of siblings Brandon and Savannah Hudson. In 2013, they were quarterfinalists on Season 8 of America's Got Talent. The duo continued to pursue music, forming Between Friends in 2017, and released their first EP in 2018. As of February 2023, they have nearly 2,000,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. Amos Oz ( he, עמוס עוז; born Amos Klausner; 4 May 1939 – 28 December 2018) was an Israeli writer, novelist, journalist, and intellectual. He was also a professor of Hebrew literature at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. From 1967 onwards, Oz was a prominent advocate of a two-state solution to the Israeli–Palestinian conflict.
