Zóio De Lula
"Zóio de Lula" ( Portuguese for "''Squid Eyes''"), also stylized as "Zóio D Lula", is a single by Brazilian alternative rock band Charlie Brown Jr. Written by vocalist Chorão (who also drew the cover) alongside his bandmates Champignon and Renato Pelado, it was released on April 1, 1999 as the first single of their second studio album, '' Preço Curto... Prazo Longo'', even though it previously appeared on the teaser EP '' Aquele Luxo!''. It was the first song by the band to reach first place in Brazilian radios at the time, and a music video counting with a guest appearance by model and actress Luize Altenhofen was made; filmed at the beach of Maresias, it won the MTV Video Music Award for International Viewer's Choice in 1999. The video's director, Johnny Araújo, would become a frequent collaborator of the band, and also direct the 2007 film ', written and co-produced by Chorão. Raimundos
Raimundos is a Brazilian punk/hardcore band formed in 1987 by Digão and Rodolfo Abrantes, in Brasília, Distrito Federal. They had with major influences from 1980s punk bands, especially Ramones, from which their name is a play of. Raimundos went on to achieve major success and become one of the most influential rock bands of Brazil in the 1990s, with multiple gold records and a double platinum achievement on their MTV live album. The band's prominence decreased significantly with the exit of vocalist Abrantes to focus on religious activities. The name of the band alludes and ironically refers to the proper name Raimundo, as it was one of the most common male first names of persons from the Northeast region of Brazil, while also being a local-flavored homage to the Ramones. In music, a medley is a piece composed from parts of existing pieces played one after another, sometimes overlapping. Fake Number, also referred to as FKN, was a Brazilian pop punk band which reached fame in the mid- to late 2000s. History Fake Number was formed in March 2006 in the city of Lorena, São Paulo by vocalist and sole female member Elektra, guitarist Pinguim (who was, alongside Elektra, the only founding member to remain in all of the group's line-ups), drummer Tony and bassist Mark, with second guitarist Gabriel ("Gah") joining some months later. Maresias
Maresias is a beach and district at the Atlantic Ocean in the city of São Sebastião, located on São Paulo state's northern coastline, Brazil. Luize Altenhofen (born July 6, 1979) is a Brazilian actress, model and television presenter. Biography Altenhofen was born Luizeani Altenhofen on July 6, 1979, in Cruz Alta, Rio Grande do Sul. Of German descent, her parents, Maria Denise Justo Panda and Luiz Ademir Altenhofen, were both physical education instructors.
