Zuo Shusheng
Zuo Shusheng (; born 13 April 1958 in Tianjin) is a former Chinese international soccer player and manager. As a player, he played for Tianjin City FC (now currently known as Tianjin Teda F.C.) and Dutch team FC Zwolle before he retired. As a manager, he returned to his former club in Tianjin where he has twice managed them in his career, with his greatest achievement being when he managed the club to a fourth-place finish in the 2008 Chinese Super League and a chance to play in the 2009 AFC Champions League for the first time. Club career Zuo Shusheng started his football career when he played for Tianjin City FC (currently known as Tianjin Teda F.C.) in the 1978 league season. With them he helped them win the 1980 as well as the 1983 league title (which they shared with Guangdong Provincial Team in 1983). 1984 AFC Asian Cup
The 1984 AFC Asian Cup was the 8th edition of the men's AFC Asian Cup, a quadrennial international football tournament organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The finals were hosted by Singapore between 1 December and 16 December 1984. The field of ten teams was split into two groups of five. Saudi Arabia won their first title, beating China in the final 2–0. Qualification 21 teams competed in qualifying for the 1984 AFC Asian Cup with the teams being separated into three groups of five teams and one group of six. The top two of each group would qualify through to the Asian Cup as they would join Singapore and Kuwait who automatically qualified. At the end of the qualifying, the remaining eight teams was filled in which included Saudi Arabia as they made their finals debut. Jia Xiuquan
Jia Xiuquan (; born 9 November 1963) is a Chinese people, Chinese Association football, football Coach (sport), manager and former international player. Player career Club career As a player, Jia Xiuquan predominately played the majority of his career for Bayi Football Team. During his time at Bayi, he saw them win two league titles, his first title in 1981 and his second in the 1986 league season. He would also personally win the Chinese Football Association Golden Ball award in 1983, 1984 and 1986. After achieving these honours he was one of the first Chinese players to attract interest from foreign teams. Chi Shangbin
Chi Shangbin (; 19 September 1949 – 6 March 2021) was a Chinese football player and coach. As player, he spent his whole career playing for Liaoning, and also represented China at international level. As manager, he was best known for his record at Dalian Wanda of 55 unbeaten run between 1995 and 1997 in the league, which brought him two Chinese Jia-A League titles. Playing career Chi Shangbin played for the Liaoning during his entire senior football career. Arend "Arie" Haan (; born 16 November 1948) is a Dutch football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. He scored 6 goals in 35 matches for the Netherlands national team of the 1970s. At club level, he enjoyed a successful career with AFC Ajax, R.S.C. Anderlecht, Standard Liège and PSV Eindhoven. The AFC Champions League (abbreviated as ACL) is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation, and contested by Asia's top-division football clubs. Gansu Tianma
Dongguan Dongcheng (Simplified Chinese: 东莞东城) was a football team based in Dongguan, Guangdong province, in the People's Republic of China, that played in the Chinese Football Association Jia League. Founded on 18 December 1999, as Gansu Tianma, the club did not get promotion from the Chinese Football Association Yi League. In 2001, however, the club bought a position in the Jia League from Tianjin Lifei. Former England international Paul Gascoigne played four games for them in 2003, scoring two goals, before returning to England after falling out with the club. Chengdu Wuniu
Chengdu Tiancheng F.C. () was a Chinese professional football club based in Chengdu, China who last played in the 26,000 seater Shuangliu Sports Center in the China League One division. The club was founded on 26 February 1996 and was formerly known as Chengdu Five Bulls named after their first sponsor, the Five Bulls Cigarette Company. However, the club was officially dissolved on 4 January 2015 and was subsequently de-registered by the Chinese Football Association on 31 January 2015 due to unpaid salaries to players and staff.
