Zsuzsanna "Zsu" Jakabos (born 3 April 1989) is a Hungarian swimmer. Medley Swimming
Medley is a combination of four different swimming styles—backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, and freestyle—into one race. This race is either swum by one swimmer as individual medley (IM) or by four swimmers as a medley relay. Individual medley Individual medley consists of a single swimmer swimming equal distances of four different strokes within one race. Stroke order Individual medley consists of four strokes. These four strokes go in an order by Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke and finally Freestyle. The swimmer will swim one quarter of the race in each style, in a certain order. Lifesaving is an official discipline of the World Games, the Games with all the sports, recognized by the IOC but not yet in the Olympic program. Beach Flags A series of flags are inserted into the sand, in a row. The number of the flags are less than a number of competitors. As the game progressed one flag is removed from the ground. Competitors stand on the finish line facing down position before the race starts. The winner is the person who grabs a flag 20 yards away. The races has the freedom to choose any flags. It is prohibited that any players obstruct the other competitors. If any player rise before the starter starts that a disqualification. A player who holds a flag is eliminated. 2009 European Short Course Swimming Championships
The 2009 European Short Course Swimming Championships was held in Istanbul, Turkey, from Thursday 10 to Sunday 13 December 2009. A temporary swimming pool was built within the Abdi İpekçi Arena. The event was held over four days with: heats, semifinals and a final for the 50 m and 100 m events and heats and a final for all other events with the exception of the women's 800 m and men's 1500 m freestyle which were heat declared winners.
