Zoran Sretenović
Zoran Sretenović ( sr-cyr, Зоран Сретеновић; 5 August 1964 – 28 April 2022) was a Serbian basketball coach and player. Playing career Sretenović played for several clubs in his country and abroad, most notably with Jugoplastika/Pop 84 from Split where he won three European Champion Cups, usually in the starting lineup. In the third of those title games, in Paris against F.C. Barcelona, Sretenovic became the second of only three players, and the only European ever, to play all 40 minutes of a Final Four title game for the winning team. He also won championships and cups of Germany, four titles, two Cups and two Supercups of Yugoslavia. National team career Sretenović was a member of the Yugoslavia national cadet team at the 1981 European Championship for Cadets in Greece. Over six tournament games, he averaged 7.0 points per game. EuroBasket, also commonly referred to as the European Basketball Championship, is the main international basketball competition that is contested quadrennially, by the senior men's national teams that are governed by FIBA Europe, which is the European zone within the International Basketball Federation. The competition was first held in 1935. The former Soviet Union holds the record for most gold medals with a total of 14. The LNB All-Star Game is the annual All-Star Game that is organised by France's professional club basketball governing body, the LNB. BBL-Pokal
Basketball Bundesliga-Pokal, commonly known as the BBL-Pokal, is the annual national basketball cup competition in Germany. Since 2009, the title has been awarded to the winner of a tournament competition between top clubs of each Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) season. History and format The competition was founded in 1966, by the German Basketball Federation. The first final of the German Basketball Cup took place on 11 June 1967, in Oberhausen. Since 1993, the cup championship is decided in a final four format, which is held over one weekend. The host team of the cup's final four, is automatically set as one of the participants.
