Zoran Sretenović
Zoran Sretenović ( sr-cyr, Зоран Сретеновић; 5 August 1964 – 28 April 2022) was a Serbian basketball coach and player. Playing career Sretenović played for several clubs in his country and abroad, most notably with Jugoplastika/Pop 84 from Split where he won three European Champion Cups, usually in the starting lineup. In the third of those title games, in Paris against F.C. Barcelona, Sretenovic became the second of only three players, and the only European ever, to play all 40 minutes of a Final Four title game for the winning team. He also won championships and cups of Germany, four titles, two Cups and two Supercups of Yugoslavia. National team career Sretenović was a member of the Yugoslavia national cadet team at the 1981 European Championship for Cadets in Greece. Over six tournament games, he averaged 7.0 points per game. EuroBasket, also commonly referred to as the European Basketball Championship, is the main international basketball competition that is contested quadrennially, by the senior men's national teams that are governed by FIBA Europe, which is the European zone within the International Basketball Federation. Basketball Bundesliga-Pokal, commonly known as the BBL-Pokal, is the annual national basketball cup competition in Germany. Since 2009, the title has been awarded to the winner of a tournament competition between top clubs of each Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) season. The Yugoslav Basketball Cup ( sh, Kup Jugoslavije u košarci / ) was the men's national basketball cup of Yugoslavia between its inauguration 1959 and 2002. It was held in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia between 1959 and 1991 and in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia between 1992 and 2002. In 2002, FR Yugoslavia changed its name to Serbia and Montenegro while the cup got renamed to the Radivoj Korać Cup. The First Federal Basketball League () was the highest tier level men's professional club basketball competition in SFR Yugoslavia. Founded in 1945 and folded in 1992 (1991-92 Winer Broker YUBA League), it was run by the Basketball Federation of Yugoslavia. With a total of 16 European-wide trophy winners and 11 finalists, the Yugoslav First Basketball League was one of the strongest European national domestic basketball leagues of all time. The 1990–91 FIBA European Champions Cup was the 34th season of the European top-tier level professional FIBA European Champions Cup (now called EuroLeague). It was won by POP 84, after they beat FC Barcelona Banca Catalana 70–65. It was their second championship triumph over the Spanish team, and their third straight championship overall. A feat previously achieved only by Rīgas ASK, who won the first three editions of the trophy. The culminating 1991 FIBA European Champions Cup Final Four was held at Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy, Bercy, Paris, on 16–18 April 1991.
