Zoran Janković (politician)
Zoran Janković ( sr-cyr, Зоран Јанковић, ; born 1 January 1953) is a Serbian-Slovenian businessman and politician. He came to prominence in 1997 as the president of the Slovenian retail company Mercator. From October 2006 to December 2011, he was mayor of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. In October 2011, he established the Positive Slovenia party, which won the plurality of votes at the early Slovenian 2011 parliamentary election. His function as a mayor ceased on 21 December 2011, when he became a deputy in the National Assembly. After he failed to be elected as the prime minister in the National Assembly, he was re-elected as the mayor of Ljubljana and retook the position on 11 April 2012. He is the first mayor of Ljubljana to have served two terms since the end of World War II. Zoran Janković ( sr-Cyrl, Зоран Јанковић, ; bg, Зоран Янкович, Zoran Yankovich; born 8 February 1974) is a Serbian-born Bulgarian football manager and former player. Career During his career, Janković represented FK Železnik, FK Vojvodina, PFC Litex Lovech, Dalian Shide F.C., Ethnikos Achna FC and FK Inđija. Janković was the highest scoring foreign player during the 2000–01 and 2001–02 A PFG seasons, managing 13 goals in each of them. He has retired during winter break of 2010-11 season while playing for FK Inđija in the Serbian SuperLiga, becoming their manager. On 15 September 2017, Janković became coach of the Thailand u-23 national team. He was sacked following Thailand's defeat in 2018 AFC U-23 Championship. Zoran Janković (water Polo)
Zoran Janković (January 8, 1940 in Zenica, Kingdom of Yugoslavia – May 25, 2002 in Belgrade, FR Yugoslavia) was a Yugoslav water polo player notable for winning a silver medal at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, and a gold medal in Mexico City in 1968, with the Yugoslavian men's water polo team. In his career, he played for the Mladost from Zagreb and Partizan from Belgrade.
