Zora Wolfová (20 February 1928 — 29 November 2012) was a Czech translator (from English) and publishing editor. Her early translations are credited under her maiden surname, Bartošová. A native of the Czech capital, Prague, Wolfová translated more than 60 books into Czech, including Arthur Ransome's ''Swallows and Amazons'' series and Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories. Zora Tavčar (born 2 October 1928) is a Slovene writer, essayist and translator, living in Opicina (Slovenian: Opčine) in the suburbs of Trieste, Italy. Zora Šemberová
Zora Šemberová (March 13, 1913 – October 9, 2012) was a Czech dancer, educator and choreographer. She was the first person to dance the role of Juliet in Sergei Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet. She is considered one of the most important interpreters in Czech dance. Life Šemberová was born in Vyškov, grew up in Brno and began her study of dance at the age of nine with Mme Gugenmoz and later Jaroslav Hladík. Šemberová went on to study at the schools of Olga Preobrajenska in Paris, Tatiana Gzovska in Berlin and in Austria. She studied mime in Paris with Marcel Marceau and E. Jaroszewicz. Zora Rozsypalová (3 September 1922 – 23 January 2010) was a Czech stage and film actress. At the 1994 Thalia Awards she was honoured in the lifetime achievement in theatre category. Zora Petrović (Dobrica, May 17, 1894 – Belgrade, May 25, 1962) was a Serbian painter. Her notable works can be seen in the Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade, and in Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection in Novi Sad. Biography She attended a high school in Pančevo from 1907 to 1909. Zora Palová (born 1947) is a Slovak glass artist. Biography Palová was born in Bratislava, Slovakia and attended the applied arts school there. She later became a teacher at the public art school in Nitra, and worked as a designer, before returning to her hometown and resuming studies in art.
