Ellen Zoe Barnett (1883 – December 19, 1969) was an American actress in musical comedies. Early life Barnett was from Glendale, California. She sang in local church choirs as a young woman. Career Barnett began her stage career in Los Angeles and San Francisco, until 1909, when she began working in national touring productions. Broadway credits for Barnett included appearances in ''All Aboard'' (1913), ''The Midnight Girl'' (1914), ''The Debutante'' (1914-1915), ''Jim Jam Jems'' (1920-1921), ''The Rose Girl'' (1921), and '' Blossom Time'' (1921-1923). "She is a clever young woman, a natural comedienne, a graceful dancer, and a real actress," declared a Louisiana newspaper, continuing, "if she were not a musical comedy prima donna and comedienne she could be an emotional actress." Patchogue (, ) is a village in Suffolk County, New York. The population was 11,798 at the time of the 2010 census. Patchogue is part of the town of Brookhaven, on the south shore of Long Island, adjoining Great South Bay. It is officially known as the ''Incorporated Village of Patchogue''. History Patchogue, which is approximately east of Manhattan, became incorporated in 1893. In 1812 there were 75 inhabitants in Patchogue according to ''The Brooklyn Eagle'', published in 1930. The Patchogue Former Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) was operated from 1904 to 1926. Port Jefferson (informally known as "Port Jeff") is an incorporated village in the town of Brookhaven in Suffolk County, New York, on the North Shore of Long Island. Sorosis Club rules in 1869 Sorosis was the first professional women's club in the United States. It was established in March 1868 in New York City. Frances Nordstrom (born June 1883 in Fort Davis, Texas) was an American actress and playwright. Early years Born in Fort Davis, Texas, Nordstrom was the daughter of United States Cavalry Captain Charles E. Nordstrom. He had command of that fort, and she lived her first 16 years there. She was the younger sister of actress Marie Nordstrom. After their father died, the sisters and their mother moved to Washington, where Nordstrom attended the Georgetown Convent school. Nordstrom became interested in the theater when, as a youth, she and her sister attended a play in San Antonio, Texas.
