Zengzi
Zeng Shen (505–435 BC), better known as Zengzi (Master Zeng), courtesy name Ziyu (), was a Chinese philosopher and disciple of Confucius. He later taught Zisi (Kong Ji), the grandson of Confucius, who was in turn the teacher of Mencius, thus beginning a line of transmitters of orthodox Confucian traditions. He is revered as one of the Four Sages of Confucianism. Life Zeng Shen was 46 years younger than Confucius. Tantai Mieming or Dantai Mieming (; born 512 BC), also known by his courtesy name Ziyu (), was a major disciple of Confucius. He was known for being very ugly, but was morally upright. He started his own school in the Yangtze River region, and became a major transmitter of Confucian thoughts. Zhou Ziyu
Zhou Ziyu (; born November 1935) is a retired general of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF). He served as Deputy Director of the PLA General Political Department from 1993 to 2000 and as Deputy Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection from 1997 to 2002. Biography Zhou was born in November 1935 in Wucheng County, Shandong Province. He enlisted in the People's Liberation Army in 1951, and studied at the PLAAF Aviation School from 1951 to 1954. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1955. From 1977 to 1981 he served as director of the Political Department of the Lanzhou Military Region, and attained the rank of major general in 1988. The People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF; ), also known as the Chinese Air Force (中国空军) or the People's Air Force (人民空军), is an aerial service branch of the People's Liberation Army, the regular armed forces of the People's Republic of China.
