Zhuliany
Zhuliany ( uk , Жуляни) is a neighbourhood in the south-west of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. It is a predominantly cottage-built area, part of the Solomianskyi district. As well as Troieshchyna, Zhuliany became a part of Kyiv municipality in 1988. The ''Kyiv International Airport'' is located in the neighborhood. A raion (also spelt rayon) is a type of administrative unit of several post-Soviet states. The term is used for both a type of subnational entity and a division of a city. The word is from the French (meaning 'honeycomb, department'), and is commonly translated as "district" in English. Troieshchyna (, uk, Троєщина, lit=Trinity, translit=Troyeshchyna) also known as Vyhurivschyna-Troieshchyna since 1997 (, uk, Вигурівщина-Троєщина) is a large neighborhood of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, the biggest subdivision in Ukraine. Troieshchyna is an outskirt located on the city's northern left-bank and is administratively part of the Desnianskyi District.
