Zhengli Road Station
Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (), formerly named Zhengli Road (), is a metro station as part of Line 18 of the Shanghai Metro. Located at the intersection of Zhengli Road and Wuchuan Road in Yangpu District, Shanghai, the station opened with the rest of phase one of Line 18 on December 30, 2021. It is located near the main campus of the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. During the planning stage of Line 18, the station was also known as Wuchuan Road (). Yangpu District is one of the 16 districts of Shanghai. Island Platform
An island platform (also center platform, centre platform) is a station layout arrangement where a single platform is positioned between two tracks within a railway station, tram stop or transitway interchange. Island platforms are popular on twin-track routes due to pragmatic and cost reasons. They are also useful within larger stations where local and express services for the same direction of travel can be provided from opposite sides of the same platform thereby simplifying transfers between the two tracks.
