Zhamila Bakbergenova
Zhamila Bakbergenova (born 6 January 1996) is a Kazakhstani freestyle wrestler. She is a three-time medalist in the women's 72kg event at the World Wrestling Championships. She is a five-time medalist, including three gold medals, at the Asian Wrestling Championships. She is also a two-time medalist at the Islamic Solidarity Games. Career Bakbergenova won the silver medal in the 69kg event at the 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games held in Baku, Azerbaijan. In the final, she was defeated by Elis Manolova of Azerbaijan. Bakbergenova competed in the 68kg event at the 2018 Asian Games without winning a medal; she was eliminated from the competition in her first match by Ayana Gempei of Japan. In 2019, she won a bronze medal in the women's 72kg event at the Asian Wrestling Championships held in Xi'an, China. 2021 World Wrestling Championships
The 2021 World Wrestling Championships was the 17th edition of the World Wrestling Championships of combined events and was held from 2 to 10 October 2021 in Oslo, Norway. The event was subsequent to the 2019 World Championships due to the cancelation of the 2020 edition during the COVID-19 pandemic. Wrestling At The 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games
Wrestling at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games were held in Konya, Turkey from 10 to 13 August 2022. Each National Olympic Committee (NOC) has the right to participate with a maximum of one wrestler per weight category in all styles (Greco-Roman, women and freestyle). The maximum number of athletes per delegation is 30.All competitors must be of senior age category (born on or before 31 December 2004). The competitions take place by direct elimination system with an ideal number of wrestlers, i.e. 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, etc. If there is no ideal number of wrestlers in a category, qualification matches will take place. Matching is done in the order of numbers determined by the draw made by UWW. 4 Each weight category begins and ends in a day.
