Zerina Akers
Zerina Akers is an American fashion stylist and costume designer. She is best known for her positions as Beyoncé's personal stylist, costume designer for the 2020 musical film ''Black Is King'', and founder of the e-commerce site "Black Owned Everything". Her work with Beyonce is what has earned her the most recognition and she has found herself being celebrated among the pages of magazines like Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. Early life Akers was born in Landover, Maryland. Akers first gained an interest in fashion when designing clothes for high school fashion shows. Career Akers studied for two years at The Art Institute of Philadelphia, and began her career in the fashion industry as an intern at ''W'' Magazine in 2006. Landover, Maryland
Landover is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States. As of the 2020 census it had a population of 25,998. Landover is contained between Sheriff Road and Central Avenue to the south, Hill Road, Cabin Branch Drive, and the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (Metro) Orange Line tracks to the west, John Hanson Highway (U.S. Highway 50) to the north, and Washington D.C.'s Capital Beltway (Interstate 495/95) to the east. African Diaspora
The African diaspora is the worldwide collection of communities descended from native Africans or people from Africa, predominantly in the Americas.
