''Zeitgeist'' is a series of three documentary films released between 2007 and 2011 that present a number of conspiracy theories, as well as proposals for broad social and economic changes. The films, ''Zeitgeist: The Movie'' (2007), ''Zeitgeist: Addendum'' (2008) and ''Zeitgeist: Moving Forward'' (2011) are all directed by Peter Joseph. A documentary film or documentary is a non-fictional motion-picture intended to "document reality, primarily for the purposes of instruction, education or maintaining a historical record". A cabal is a group of people who are united in some close design, usually to promote their private views or interests in an ideology, a state, or another community, often by intrigue and usually unbeknownst to those who are outside their group. The original World Trade Center (WTC) was a large complex of seven buildings in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan in New York City.
