Zapote Station
Zapote station is an under-construction Manila Light Rail Transit (LRT) station situated on Line 1. Zapote differs from other Line 1 stations in that it will be constructed at grade. It is part of the Line 1 South Extension Project. The station would be the first Line 1 station outside Metro Manila being located in Bacoor in Cavite. The station will be located near the Zapote (Bacoor/Las Piñas) Exit Ramp of Manila-Cavite Expressway in Barangay Zapote V (Longos) in Bacoor. Manila Light Rail Transit System
The Manila Light Rail Transit System ( fil, Sistema ng Magaang Riles Panlulan ng Maynila), commonly known as the LRT, is an urban rail transit system that primarily serves Metro Manila, Philippines. Bacoor (), officially the City of Bacoor ( fil, Lungsod ng Bacoor), is a 1st class Cities of the Philippines#Legal classification, component city in the Provinces of the Philippines, province of Cavite, Philippines. The station would be located on Villareal Street corner C-5 Extension in Las Piñas. Line 1 plan calls for an almost entirely elevated extension of approximately 11.7 km.
