Zamyad Co. (Persian: خودروسازی زامیاد, ''Xudrusazi-ye Zamyad'') is an Iranian commercial vehicle manufacturing company. It was founded in 1963 as part of the RENA Industrial Group in Tehran. In 1963, the company began producing Volvo N-Model trucks. and in 1970 started production of Nissan Junior 2000 pickup. In 1998 SAIPA took over the Zamyad company, who then undertook the production of the Z24, a license built version of the 1970-1980 Nissan Junior with a 2.4-litre engine. Since 2003, this truck is sold under the Zamyad brand. Zamyad produces a rebodied version of the Z24 called the Shooka. SAIPA ( fa, سایپا, ''SAIPA'') is an Iranian automaker headquartered in Tehran. The SAIPAC (an acronym for the French ''Société anonyme iranienne de production des automobiles Citroën'') was established in 1965 as with 75% Iranian ownership, to assemble Citroëns under license for the Iranian market. The Iveco Stralis is a heavy-duty truck produced by the Italian manufacturer Iveco between 2002-2019. The Stralis replaced the EuroStar and EuroTech models; it covers the range above the Eurocargo, between 19 and 44 tonnes. The fire version of the Stralis released with the German based Iveco Magirus. The Isuzu Faster is a pickup truck that was manufactured and marketed by Isuzu between 1972 and 2002 over three generations. The Faster was succeeded worldwide by Isuzu D-Max, except in North America. First generation (1972–1980) Isuzu of Japan introduced the ''KB20'' / ''25'' series Faster pickup in 1972. Iran’s automotive industry is the third most active industry of the country, after its oil and gas industry, accounting for 10% of Iran's GDP and 4% of the workforce (700,000 person).
