Zakaria Messoudi
Zakaria Messoudi (born October 30, 1993) is a former professional soccer player who played as a midfielder. Born in Morocco, he represented Canada at youth international level. Club career Early career Born in Casablanca, Morocco, Messoudi moved to Canada at the age of eight. He played his youth soccer with Montreal-Concordia AAA before joining the Montreal Impact Academy in 2010. He played with the senior academy team in the Canadian Soccer League's first division during the 2012 season. Messoudi would help Montreal clinch a playoff berth by finishing second in the division. The academy side would defeat Toronto FC's academy in the quarterfinal. In the next round of the postseason, Montreal would defeat the York Region Shooters to qualify for the championship final match. 2015 USL Season
The 2015 USL season was the fifth season of the United Soccer League (USL) and the first under its new name (previously the league was called USL Pro). This season represented a substantial expansion from 14 teams in 2014 to 24 teams in 2015, and the division of the league into two conferences. It is also the 29th season of third-division soccer in the United States. Seven Major League Soccer clubs created reserve franchises in the USL for the 2015 season, following the lead of the LA Galaxy, who had done so in 2014: FC Montreal, New York Red Bulls II, Portland Timbers 2, Real Monarchs, Seattle Sounders FC 2, Toronto FC II, and Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2. The 2014 Major League Soccer season was the 102nd season of FIFA-sanctioned soccer in the United States and Canada, the 36th with a national first-division league, and the 19th season of Major League Soccer. The ''Ottawa Sun'' is a daily newspaper in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is published by Sun Media. It began publication in 1983 as the ''Ottawa Sunday Herald'', until it was acquired by (then) Toronto Sun Publishing Corporation in 1988. In April 2015, Sun Media papers were acquired by Postmedia. Oliver Thomal Minatel (born 29 August 1992), known as Oliver, is a Brazilian former professional footballer. Career Youth After spending five years at his home club Guarani, Mintatel joined the esteemed academy of Paulínia in 2007 where he would play three seasons in the Campeonato Paulista and featured in the Copa São Paulo. North American Soccer League (2011–2017)
The North American Soccer League (NASL) was a professional men's soccer league based in the United States. The league was named for, but had no connection to, the original North American Soccer League. The later NASL was founded in 2009, and began play in 2011 with eight teams. From 2013 through 2017, the NASL used a split-season schedule running from April to early November, with a four-week break in July.
