Zach Hudson
Zach Hudson is an American educator and politician serving as a member of the Oregon House of Representatives from the 49th district. Elected in 2020, he assumed office on January 11, 2021. Early life and education Hudson was born and raised in Oregon. He earned a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from the University of Winchester in Hampshire, England. He then earned a Master of Education from Portland State University. He received teaching credentials and certificates from California State University, Fullerton and Lewis & Clark College. Career In 2004 and 2005, Hudson worked as an English teacher at Gresham High School. From 2005 to 2009, he was an English, math, and special education teacher at the Corbett School. Chris Gorsek (born January 28, 1958 in Portland, Oregon) is an American politician and a Democratic member of the Oregon State Senate representing District 25 since January 11, 2021. Troutdale is a city in Multnomah County, Oregon, United States, immediately north of Gresham and east of Wood Village. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 15,962. The city serves as the western gateway to the Historic Columbia River Highway, the Mount Hood Scenic Byway, and the Columbia River Gorge. It is approximately east of Portland. History The community was once known as Sandy, after the nearby Sandy River; the post office in Sandy was established in 1854 and closed in 1868. In 1873, the current city of Sandy in Clackamas County, which was formerly named "Revenue", established a different Sandy post office that is still in operation. Reynolds High School is the only public high school in Troutdale, Oregon, United States, in the northeastern part of the Portland metropolitan area. It is part of the Reynolds School District, and is the second-largest high school in Oregon. History The school takes its name from the school district, which was named for the Reynolds Aluminum plant in the city that closed in 2000. On May 29, 1979, a three-alarm fire injured three students and damaged the gym and theater. Reynolds High School merged with Columbia High School in 1989. Gresham High School (Oregon)
Gresham High School is a public high school located in Gresham, Oregon, United States. History Gresham High School opened in 1906. There have since been several improvements to grounds and buildings, expansions, and classroom additions. In 1971, the original grandstands, made completely of wood, burned to the ground in less than 30 minutes. In 2016 the Gresham-Barlow School District and the voters of Gresham passed a bond to replace most parts of the school, with construction beginning in 2018. The project was completed in 2021. Until the recent remodel, the school still had asbestos tiling and pipe insulation throughout the building and numerous architectural faults.
