Západoslovenská Energetika
Západoslovenská energetika, a.s. (ZSE) is a Slovak utility company based in Bratislava. Its main objective is to sell and supply electricity to end customers. In 2002 it became a member of the E.ON Group. Joint Stock Company
A joint-stock company is a business entity in which shares of the company's stock can be bought and sold by shareholders. Each shareholder owns company stock in proportion, evidenced by their shares (certificates of ownership). Shareholders are able to transfer their shares to others without any effects to the continued existence of the company. In modern-day corporate law, the existence of a joint-stock company is often synonymous with incorporation (possession of legal personality separate from shareholders) and limited liability (shareholders are liable for the company's debts only to the value of the money they have invested in the company). Therefore, joint-stock companies are commonly known as corporations or limited companies. Trenčín Region
The Trenčín Region ( sk, Trenčiansky kraj, ; cs, Trenčínský kraj; hu, Trencséni kerület) is one of the eight Slovak administrative regions. It consists of 9 districts ('' okresy''). The region was established in 1996: previously it had been a part of West-Slovak region (Západoslovenský kraj) and partly central Slovak region (Stredoslovenský kraj). Industry is a main branch of region economy. Geography It is located in the north-western Slovakia, has an area of 4,502 km² and a population of 600,386 (2005). Stredoslovenská Energetika
Stredoslovenská energetika, a.s. (SSE) is an electric utility company based in Žilina, Slovakia. It is second largest electricity distributor in Slovakia, which serves the Žilina Region, Banská Bystrica Region and in a part of the Trenčín Region, where it delivers and distributes electricity to circa 700,000 customers - businesses and households.
