Zvi Magen
Zvi Magen (born 1945) is the former deputy head of Nativ, Israeli ambassador to Ukraine in 1993, ambassador to Russia in 1998, and Head of Nativ from 1999 to 2005. Magen wished to retire from his post during the Sharon government, but was convinced to stay until a replacement was found. Ehud Olmert (; he, אֶהוּד אוֹלְמֶרְט, ; born 30 September 1945) is an Israeli politician and lawyer. He served as the 12th Prime Minister of Israel from 2006 to 2009 and before that as a cabinet minister from 1988 to 1992 and from 2003 to 2006. Naomi Ben-Ami ( he, נעמי בן עמי; born 1960) is an Israeli government official and the head of the liaison bureau Lishkat Hakesher, also known as Nativ. Ben-Ami is the first woman to head the organization. Biography Naomi Ben-Ami was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, USSR, but because of her parents' work, she lived mostly in Kazakhstan. In September 1973 she and her family immigrated to Israel, just weeks before the outbreak of the Yom Kippur War. After spending time at an ulpan in Dimona, her parents took jobs as physicians in Jerusalem. Ben-Ami attended high school at Gymnasia Rehavia. After graduating she entered the Israel Defense Forces, where she served in the Central Command as a secretary.
