Zvečan
Zvečan ( sr-Cyrl, Звечан) or Zveçan ( sq-definite, Zveçani) is a town and municipality located in the Mitrovica District in Kosovo. As of 2015, it has a population of 16,650 inhabitants. It covers an area of , and consists of a town and 35 villages. Zvečan is a part of North Kosovo, a region with an ethnic Serb majority that functions largely autonomously from the remainder of ethnic Albanian-majority Kosovo. Dragiša Milović
Dragiša Milović ( sr-Cyrl, Драгиша Миловић; born 1957) is a Kosovo Serb politician. He was the president (i.e., mayor) of Zvečan, a predominantly Serb community in the north of Kosovo on the border with Central Serbia, from 2002 to 2013 as a member of the Democratic Party of Serbia (''Demokratska stranka Srbije'', DSS). He was re-elected to the same position in 2021 as a candidate of the Serb List (Kosovo), Serb List (''Srpska lista'', SL). Private career Milović is a medical doctor and an orthopedic specialist. He is deputy director of KBC Kosovska Mitrovica. Ivan Todosijević
Ivan Todosijević ( sr-cyr, Иван Тодосијевић; born 16 July 1973) is a Kosovo Serb politician. He was a minister in the Kosovo government from 2017 to 2019 and a member of the Assembly of Kosovo from 2019 to 2021. He has also been designated by the Serbian government as the leader of Zvečan's provisional authority since 2015; the latter position is not recognized by the Republic of Kosovo government. Todosijević is a member of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) and Kosovo's Serb List (SL). In 2019, Todosijević was convicted by a court in Priština of incitement to national, racial, ethnic, or religious intolerance after saying that the identification of Yugoslavia's January 1999 Račak operation as a "massacre" was a fabrication by "Albanian terrorists" used to justify the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia. The Community of Serb Municipalities ( sr, / ), or Association of Serb Municipalities ( sq, Asociacioni i Komunave Serbe, AKS), is a planned self-governing association of municipalities with a Serb majority population in Kosovo. A municipality ( sq, komuna, sr, / ) is the basic administrative division in Kosovo and constitutes the only level of power in local governance. The Musić ( sr-cyr, Мусић, Musići / Мусићи) was a Serbian noble house that served the Serbian Empire (1345–1371), and during its fall (1371–1389) it served Tsar Lazar's Serbia. The eponymous founder was ''čelnik'' Musa, who married Dragana Hrebeljanović, the sister of Tsar Lazar (r. 1371-1389). Serbian Empire
The Serbian Empire ( sr, / , ) was a medieval Serbian state that emerged from the Kingdom of Serbia. It was established in 1346 by Dušan the Mighty, who significantly expanded the state. Under Dušan's rule, Serbia was the major power in the Balkans and a multi-lingual empire that stretched from the Danube to the Gulf of Corinth, with its capital in Skopje. He also promoted the Serbian Archbishopric to the Serbian Patriarchate. His son and successor, Uroš the Weak, lost most of the territory conquered by Dušan, hence his epithet.
