Zvezda-2005 Perm (russian: "Звезда-2005" Пермь) is a Russian professional women's football club currently competing in the Russian Women's Football Championship. History The club is based in the city of Perm and takes its name from men's team Zvezda Perm, which was dissolved in 1997. Zvezda-2005 won both the Russian league and national cup in 2007, and subsequently reached the final of the 2008-09 UEFA Women's Cup, losing to Duisburg. They also won the Russian league in 2008 and 2009, making it three titles in a row. In 2010 they were third, failing to qualify to the Champions League. FC Gintra is a Lithuanian women's football club from Šiauliai. It is the team of the local Šiauliai University. History The club plays in the highest Lithuanian league, the A Lyga and has won 13 championships so far. The fourth one in 2005 and every championship since then. After its championships, the club played in the UEFA Women's Cup and from 2009 onwards in the UEFA Women's Champions League. Linköpings Fotboll Club is an association football club from Linköping, Sweden. The club was established in 2003 when Kenty DFF women's football club decided to merge with the premier division ice hockey club Linköpings HC under the new name Linköpings FC. The club's goal was both to establish women's football as a sport in Linköping and eventually become one of the top four teams. History In 2004, Linköpings FC finished their first year in the women's premier division (Damallsvenskan) in sixth place. The following two seasons the club reached its goal of finishing top four in the league with a fourth-place finish in 2005 and a third-place finish in 2006. The Stjarnan women's football team is the women's football department of the Ungmennafélagið Stjarnan multi-sport club. It is based in Garðabær, Iceland, and currently plays in the Úrvalsdeild kvenna, the top-tier women's football league in Iceland. The 2010–11 UEFA Women's Champions League was the tenth edition of the European women's championship for football clubs. The final was held in London, England on 26 May 2011 at Craven Cottage. SFK 2000 Sarajevo ''(BIH)'' is a women's professional football club from the city of Sarajevo that is situated in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The UEFA Women's Champions League 2009–10 was the first edition of the newly branded tournament, and the ninth edition of a UEFA tournament for women's champion football clubs. For the first time the top 8 leagues of the UEFA were awarded two entry places in this year's season.
