Zuzana Dolinková
Zuzana Dolinková (born 20 January 1983) is a Slovak lawyer and politician. Since 2023 she has served as the Minister of Health of Slovakia. Member of "Naši ľudia", on 22th July 2024, is responsible for closing Cardio center in Faculty Hospital of Trenčín (Capital of Trenčín district), at the beginning of month July 2024 in several bigger cities hospitals were closed Emergency for personal crisis due to massive exodus of brains. Biography Zuzana Dolinková was born on 20 January 1983 in Topoľčany. In 2007 she graduated in law from the Comenius University. Following graduation, she practiced law in the private sector. From 2015 to 2021 she led the Association of Outpatient Providers (Zväz ambulantných poskytovateľov), a union of private providers of healthcare. Robert Fico
Robert Fico (; born 15 September 1964) is a Slovak politician who served as the prime minister of Slovakia from 2006 to 2010 and from 2012 to 2018 (when he resigned). He has been the first leader of the Direction – Social Democracy (SMER-SD) party since 1999. First elected to Parliament in 1992 (whilst within Czechoslovakia), he was later appointed to the Council of Europe. Following his party's victory in the 2006 parliamentary election, he formed the first Fico Cabinet. After the 2010 parliamentary election, Fico sat as an opposition member of parliament, effectively as leader of the opposition. 2023 Slovak Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections are scheduled to be held in Slovakia on 30 September 2023 to elect members of the National Council. The 2020 Slovak parliamentary election resulted in a coalition government led by the Ordinary People and Independent Personalities movement. On 15 December 2022 the Slovak government lost a no-confidence vote, and a snap election in 2023 was demanded by the President of Slovakia, Zuzana Čaputová, and the opposition. Fico's Fourth Cabinet is the incumbent government of Slovakia. 2020 Slovak Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Slovakia on 29 February 2020 to elect all 150 members of the National Council. The anti-corruption list led by Ordinary People and Independent Personalities (OĽaNO) movement emerged as the largest parliamentary group, winning 53 seats. The ruling coalition comprising Direction – Social Democracy (SMER–SD), the Slovak National Party (SNS), and Most–Híd (MH), led by Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini of SMER–SD, won only 38, with both the SNS and MH losing their parliamentary representation. Comenius University
Comenius University in Bratislava ( sk, Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave) is the largest university in Slovakia, with most of its faculties located in Bratislava. It was founded in 1919, shortly after the creation of Czechoslovakia. It is named after Jan Amos Comenius, a 17th-century Czech teacher and philosopher. In 2020, Comenius University had more about 23,000 students and 2,500 faculty members. As are most universities in Slovakia, it is funded mostly by the government.
