Zuo Ju
Zuo Ju (born 10 February 2000) is a Chinese taekwondo practitioner. She is a two-time silver medalist in the women's 53kg event at the World Taekwondo Championships. In 2022, she won the silver medal in the women's bantamweight event at the World Taekwondo Championships held in Guadalajara, Mexico. She also won the silver medal in the women's bantamweight event at the 2023 World Taekwondo Championships held in Baku, Azerbaijan. 2022 World Taekwondo Championships
The 2022 World Taekwondo Championships was the 25th edition of the World Taekwondo Championships and was held at the Centro Acuático CODE Metropolitano, in Guadalajara, Mexico from 13 to 20 November 2022. It was at first scheduled to be held in Wuxi, China in 2021, but withdrawn due to the impact of the global COVID-19 pandemic to get the 2025 edition. In January 2022, the event was first moved to Cancún, Mexico. This was the second time after 2013, that Mexico has held the event. The 2023 World Taekwondo Championships was the 26th edition of the World Taekwondo Championships and was held in Baku, Azerbaijan from 29 May to 4 June, 2023. The 2017 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games ( tk, Ýapyk binalarda we söweş sungaty boýunça V Aziýa oýunlary/Япык биналарда ве сөвеш сунгаты боюнча V Азия оюнлары), which is also counted as the 5th Asian Indoor Games, was held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan in 2017. It became the third city in the former Soviet countries to win the right of hosting an Olympic Council of Asia-sanctioned event, following Astana and Almaty in Kazakhstan, which jointly-hosted the 2011 Asian Winter Games.
