Zuleyka Jerrís Mendoza Rivera (born October 3, 1987) is a Puerto Rican actress, TV host, dancer, model and beauty queen who won Miss Universe 2006 in Los Angeles. She was previously crowned Miss Puerto Rico Universe 2006. Zuleykha Safarova (; born 27 November 1999) is an Azerbaijani tennis player. Safarova made her WTA main draw debut at the 2015 Baku Cup, receiving a wildcard into the singles draw. ''Zuleikha'' (russian: Зулейха́ открыва́ет глаза́, ''Zuleihka otkrivaet glaza'' 'Zuleikha Opens Her Eyes'' is a debut novel written in 2015 by the Russian author Guzel Yakhina. It describes the lives of various people, including the titular protagonist, struggling to survive in exile in Siberia from 1930 to 1946. The book won the Yasnaya Polyana Literary Award and the Big Book Award in 2015. It has been translated into twenty-one languages. ''The Bride of Abydos'' is a poem written by Lord Byron in 1813. "Yusuf and Zulaikha" (the English transliteration of both names varies greatly) refers to a medieval Islamic version of the story of the prophet Yusuf and Potiphar's wife which has been for centuries in the Muslim world, and is found in many languages such as Arabic, Persian, Bengali, Turkish and Urdu.
