Wolfgang Zuckermann
Wolfgang Joachim Zuckermann (11 October 1922 – 30 October 2018) was a German-born American harpsichord maker and writer. He was known for inventing a highly popular kit for constructing new instruments and wrote an influential book, ''The Modern Harpsichord''. As a social activist, he authored books including ''The Mews of London'' and ''The End of the Road''. Isidor Zuckermann
Isidor Zuckermann (May 21, 1866 – 1946) was an Austrian businessman. He was born near Kamianets-Podilskyi in the Podolia Governorate of the Russian Empire (modern-day Ukraine), and emigrated with his family to the United Kingdom in 1939. He died in Keswick, Cumbria in 1946. He is interred in St. John's Church Cemetery, Keswick. Hugo Zuckermann (15 May 1881, Eger ( cs, Cheb), Kingdom of Bohemia, Royal Bohemia – 23 December 1914, Eger) was a Jewish-Austrian poet and zionism, Zionist. Zuckermann was born in Cheb. In 1907 he founded, together with writer Oskar Rosenfeld, Egon Brecher and others a Jewish theatre group to play modern Yiddish dramas in the German language. The initiative lasted for one or two years. Later he became a lawyer in Meran. He fell early in the First World War after having written the very popular "Österreichisches Reiterlied". His work, published in one volume with an introduction by Otto Abeles in 1915, consists of poems including some translations from the Bible (''Shir Hashirim'', psalms). Ariel Zuckermann ( he, אריאל צוקרמן, born in 1973 in Tel Aviv) is an Israeli conductor, since 2015 director and conductor of the Israel Chamber Orchestra. Career Ariel Zuckermann began his musical career as flautist. A student of Paul Meisen and András Adorján, he also took master courses with Alain Marion and Aurèle Nicolet. Winner of a number of renowned international competitions, he played under conductors such as Lorin Maazel, Daniel Barenboim, Zubin Mehta and Riccardo Muti in orchestras such as the Symphony Orchestra of the Bavarian Radio, Munich Philharmonic, Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and Bavarian State Opera. Benedict Zuckermann
Benedict Zuckermann (9 October 1818 – 17 December 1891) was a Jewish scientist in Breslau. Life Zuckermann was born in Breslau (Wrocław), in the Kingdom of Prussia's Province of Silesia, an Ashkenazic Jew. He received a thorough Hebrew and secular education at the institutions of his native city, and devoted himself at the university to the study of mathematics and astronomy. In 1845 he joined Heinrich Graetz in agitating for an address to Zecharias Frankel to congratulate him on the conservative stand which he had taken against the Frankfurt Conference; and when Frankel assumed the management of the Breslau seminary he appointed Zuckermann on the teaching staff.
