Zoya Belokhvostik
Zoya Belakhvostik (''Belarusian'' Зоя Валянцінаўна Белахвосцік, October 26, 1959, Minsk, Belarus) is a Belarusian theater and film actress. She is the People's Artist of Belarus, Honored Artist of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Honored Artist of the Yanka Kupala National Academic Theater, and the holder of the medal of honor of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus "For the contribution to the development of Belarusian culture". Biography Zoya Belakhvostsik was born on October 26, 1959, in Minsk, Belarus. In 1982, she graduated from the faculty of the Belarusian Theater and Art Institute with a degree in drama and film acting. In her fourth year of study, she was offered to play the role of Paulinka in the eponymous Belarusian play '' Paulinka'', and she played this role until 2000. Belarusian Language
Belarusian ( be, беларуская мова, biełaruskaja mova, link=no, ) is an East Slavic language. It is the native language of many Belarusians and one of the two official state languages in Belarus. Additionally, it is spoken in some parts of Russia, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, and Ukraine by Belarusian minorities in those countries. Before Belarus gained independence in 1991, the language was only known in English as ''Byelorussian'' or ''Belorussian'', the compound term retaining the English-language name for the Russian language in its second part, or alternatively as ''White Russian''. The Belarusian State Academy of Arts ( Belarusian: Беларуская дзяржаўная акадэмія мастацтваў Russian: Белорусская государственная академия искусств) is a state-owned institution of higher education in Minsk, Belarus. The Belarusian State Academy of Arts has status as a leading institution of the national system of art and cultural education alongside the Belarusian State Academy of Music and the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts. Gleb Pavlovich Glebov (real surname Sorokin; Belarusian language, Belarusian: ''Глеб Паўлавіч Глебаў''; May 11, 1899 – March 3, 1967) was a Soviet and Belarusian theater and film actor. People's Artist of the USSR (1948). Biography Glebov was born on April 29 Gregorian calendar, (May 11; NS), 1899 in Voznesensk (now Mykolaiv region of Ukraine) (according to other sources, in Voskresensk, now Moscow region) in the family of a railway employee, who was an aspiring actor. In 1920, he graduated from the Bendera men's gymnasium. From 1920 to 1921, he studied at the Odessa Polytechnic Institute.
